Abstract
Partiendo de la teoría de la traducción indirecta, este artículo examina la traducción y la difusión de la ciencia ficción contemporánea china en el mundo hispanohablante. Al revisar todas las obras de ciencia ficción china traducidas al español hasta la fecha, el estudio reconstruye el panorama general de su circulación editorial y pone de manifiesto la existencia de dos vías principales de traducción: la traducción directa del chino y la traducción indirecta por el inglés. Sobre esta base, por un lado, se examinan de manera comparativa los cuatro ángulos de esta temática: las dos vías de traducción, el mapa editorial, los traductores y las notas de traductor asociadas a la traducción directa e indirecta; y por el otro, se muestran cómo estos factores influyen en la forma en que estas obras han sido introducidas, traducidas y difundidas en el mundo hispanohablante. Los resultados revelan que ambas vías responden a diferentes lógicas de producción y de circulación cultural, pero coexisten de manera estructural en el sistema editorial. Por último, se proponen consejos para optimizar la traducción y la difusión de la ciencia ficción china en los países de habla hispana.
